The Monstercross is the ‘jack-of-all-trades’ bike. First, and foremost, it’s a fun bike to ride. Constructed with a blend of double-butted and heat-treated cro-moly tubing, the ride quality of the Monstercross has been described as comfortable and snappy. It’s equally at home rolling along some chunky gravel roads or set up for commuter duty hauling a bag of groceries. With mounting points for racks and the capacity to fit three water bottles, it really is the do-it-all bike. The Monstercross frame has been in the Black Mountain Cycles line-up since day one and as long as the demand for a simple rim brake bike that can fit 48mm tires, it’ll stay. It’s a keeper.
