La Cabra

It’s been a huckuva long process, but the La Cabra frames finally arrived last week. They’re on the webstore now. A few of the size/color combos sold out during the pre-orders. I spent the weekend prepping and getting the pre-sold frames ready to ship. I hope the UPS truck is empty when it arrives to pick up frames later today.

I don’t really get too excited about a lot of bike type stuff, but this is a fun bike and the production frames turned out great. Good clearance for big tires. Simple cable routing. No nonsense fun-loving bike. Well, bikes can’t have fun, but they play a big role in the fun you can have.

Not going to spend a lot of time glossing over what makes the bike fun. There are pages on the site dedicated to that and there’s info on the technical aspects of the frame, sizing, and geometry. And, of course, the shop page.

The webstore for La Cabra is open. Martini Olive was the most popular color being that 18″ and 20″ frames in that color option are sold out. There’s only one 22″ Martini Olive frame available. Email me if you’d like that frame since I don’t want to risk having multiple orders for the one frame come in since I can’t monitor the webstore every second.

And as always, if you have any questions about it, email me. I’m not able to do any more complete builds at this time since I just can’t get the parts. I do have an ok selection of parts to build wheels though. I’ve got a mix of hubs from SRAM, DT Swiss, and Shimano. Rims from DT Swiss in 27.5″ or 29″. And my Phil Wood spoke cutter that has been working overtime cutting and threading the exact spoke length needed for just about any wheel.
