Black Mountain Cycles frames are prepped prior to paint. I don’t usually chase & face frames as a general rule as facing removes the paint that protects the raw steel and can create a space for moisture to creep in and cause corrosion under the paint.
If you want to have the bottom bracket threads chased, but not faced, adding on this service will ensure your bottom bracket will install with ease. This is for chasing the bb threads only.
