The frame mount for the brake caliper is 10mm thick. Use what the brake manufacturer recommends with a 10mm frame mount and a washer that gives you 5mm-7mm of thread engegement (generally a 16mm – 18mm length bolt depending on washer thickness). Check with the brake manufacturer for their recommendations when in doubt. |

| Frame Saver? |
All frames are coated inside and out with a corrosion resistant black electrophoretic deposition (BED) coating. A frame saver spray isn’t necessary, but if you are going to ride in a wet area, a shot of Frame Saver™ or Boeshield® couldn’t hurt, especially in the lower part of the frame were moisture could collect. |
